Drew McIntyre returned to the WWE during the Wrestlemania weekend. Later, he revealed that he has signed a contract with his previous employer. We reported previously, that it is a three-year deal with the company. In the beginning, he will look to reinvent himself on the NXT scene.

Quite expectedly, he started appearing on the NXT tapings from Wrestlemania onwards. It is expected that he will be the replacement of a babyface that Shinsuke Nakamura was on the brand. Furthermore, WWE.com stated him as the next franchise player after the King of Strong Styles headed to Smackdown Live. This was just a sign of things to come for him in near future.

As reported by SportsKeeda, Drew McIntyre has signed a multi-year deal with WWE which also includes a main roster stint. For the first year of the contract, he will perform on the NXT scene. This will help him to reinvent his character. A strong push is waiting for him so that he can be a big name upon arriving at the main roster.
The Chosen One of Vince McMahon has been given a new theme song to personify his character. He is said to be extremely satisfied with the opportunities he is being given and looking forward to making the most out of it.

He is a 16 year veteran in the pro-wrestling circuit and is used properly will be a huge inclusion on the main roster. Furthermore, he was also known as the Sinister Scotsman since his native country is Scotland. So, he is expected to create a bigger influence on the fans from United Kingdom base. He is expected to play a big role on the players on the UK tournament who looks to perform on the NXT brand.

Drew McIntyre first landed on the WWE scene back in 2006. He was introduced to the WWE universe by none other than the Boss himself with the ‘Chosen One’ gimmick. This helped him to establish as a bonafide heel on the roster. He became Intercontinental champion and tag team champion on multiple occasions.

However, he fell victim to irrelevant storylines forcing him to quit the company. He managed to reinvent himself during his TNA stint by becoming a world champion there. Hopefully, he can continue with his momentum from this point on.
