WWE News: Fans Want Lana To Be The Sixth Member Of The Money In The Bank Ladder Match

  • Smackdown Live already made history by coming up with the idea of the inaugural Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

In the past, the company never hosted the same for the women’s division. Once the path-breaking announcement came by Shane McMahon, fans went crazy over it making it a trend.

For now, has officially announced five names who will participate in the match that will take place at the Money in the Bank PPV on June 18th. Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Carmella, Natalya, and Tamina are those names who are confirmed to take part in the upcoming match.

However, the speculations suggest that the match will consist of six women similar to the men’s match. The rumour was fueled up after the Ravishing Russian Lana posted a tweet on her official account asking the commissioner to insert her into the match.

It was coming for a while since Lana has still not made her debut on the blue brand and looking for a perfect opportunity to show up. So, what better to join the women’s fray that will make history by participating in the ladder match.

Whosoever is doubting her lack of in-ring skills, they should know Lana is regularly performing in the NXT house shows in order to get herself adjusted to the main roster level. She is already trained in Martial Arts which is an added skill in her arsenal.

Shane McMahon is yet to make any response to the pledge made by the Ravishing Russian. But, he will surely address it on the upcoming episode of Smackdown Live making her the sixth participants of the Money in the Bank ladder match. This will also maintain the minimum number of competitors in the history-making match.

Lana has competed in only one match back in Wrestlemania 32. She was the part of a ten-woman tag team contest at that point. This will mark her first solo match in the main roster of the WWE. Meanwhile, fans are backing her up once she posted the tweet:
