WWE News: Goldberg apologizes to the WWE fans for not returning at Summerslam

During Summerslam, fans thought that they would witness a triumphant return from the former World Heavyweight Champion, Goldberg to stand against Brock Lesnar. During the end of the Summerslam show, the whole arena was chanting with his name. However, Goldberg did not come out to save Orton and the crowd was disappointed. The whole arena started booing over the fact. Now, WWE is well aware of the fan backlash took place at Summerslam. Meanwhile, Goldberg apologized to the fans in his Twitter handle. By posting a number of tweets in his official account, he apologized for not showing up at the biggest event of the summer. Here’s what he tweeted.

During the Summerslam weekend he was busy promoting the WWE 2K17 video game which will be available from October and quoted the following regarding his return, “On October 11th, you’ll get to see me and Brock Lesnar go at it one more time and I’m sure he’ll be trying to get that loss back from WrestleMania XX. the reality is when this game comes out, you’ll get to see me in the ring against new guys or guys like The Undertaker who you never saw me get in the ring with. As a father, a 49-year-old, an old timer, it’s an honour to be in the game. It also makes me a great dad since it’s pretty cool for a ten-year-old.”

Due to lack of creative planning, the return of Goldberg has not come to fruition. However, the planning is supposed to be on the card.
