Jerry Lawler is one of the most known faces in the commentary team of WWE. But, that’s not why he is famous for. He is a professional wrestling legend and a WWE Hall of Famer. In a shocking incident, WWE Universe’s most beloved Jerry “The King” Lawler and his 27-year-old girlfriend, Lauryn McBride has been arrested from their home in Memphis, Tennessee. They were suspected of allegedly beating up each other and the police arrested both of them after the incident on Thursday night.
After being taken to the police they both have admitted that they started the fight in the kitchen. As per McBride’s accusation, Jerry had shoved her up into the walls of the kitchen and hit in the head. To protect herself she ran upstairs and brought a handgun. In addition, she also claimed that he told her “Go ahead and kill yourself.”
On the other hand, Jerry Lawler had claimed that McBride was the first attacker. She started by scratching his face, kicked him in the groin and threw a candle towards him as she was in a drunken state. She was so outrageous that she brought down the handgun from the garage and placed it in the kitchen, as per his claim. With both of them on a different page, has left the police in doubt. They are yet to decide who the first one was to hit.
WWE has suspended Jerry Lawler for indefinite span of time as they released the following statement:
