WWE News: Jim Ross Revealed why Summerslam Main Event will Steal the Show

WWE will host a bigger Universal Championship match for this year’s Summerslam. A lot of speculations were ongoing about who would emerge as the number one contender for Brock Lesnar’s title. The company made a smarter choice by letting everyone involved in the scenario.

So, it will be Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe and the champion, Brock Lesnar himself competing in a fatal-4-way matchup at the biggest party of the summer. It will be contested under No Disqualification capacity considering the fatal-4-way rules where every sort of mean streaks will be completely legal. You can only imagine what ruckus would be created when these four behemoths go head to head.

Now, the audience is much pleased with his booking from the Raw brand. Initially, we expected a singles competition for the title match. But, this scenario is certainly better since the fans would love to see a no holds barred match.

Also, it is to be noted that this match is going to be the main event of the night considering the stakes are much higher than that of the WWE Championship match from Smackdown. So, it’s quite obvious that WWE is going to reserve this mouth-watering bout at the very last in the match card.

The booking of these four superstars is so right for the title match since they are the four prime superstars on the Raw roster. Being the absolute physical competitors, these four might be able to give the audience a night to remember. At the end of the night, no one will have to be looked weaker, which is the smartest thing about this contest.

Jim Ross, the veteran commentator, is much happier with this match and expressed his excitement over it. The legendary voice who might return to call down the actions posted the following on his blog stating that each superstar will be personified by the virtue of this multi-man match up. Check out his comments via WrestlingINC.com:

“Love the booking of the SummerSlam main event featuring a four-way with Lesnar, Reigns, Strowman, and Joe. As a fan, I’m curious as to how it would play out if the four-way featured elimination rules? Nonetheless, is there a way for this match to be so well executed that every man in the match enhances their TV personas to some degree no matter the outcome? Absolutely.”

It is expected that a ruckus situation will occur at the end of the night when the fight finally concludes. The beast incarnate is still the favourite to retain his title and go on to defend it at the very next PPV, No Mercy.
