Hardcore WWE fans might not be much familiar with name Gail Kim who is considered as one of the most legendary names present in the world of pro-wrestling. Back in the last decade, she started her career in the WWE alongside the then Divas in the company like The Bella Twins, Maryse, Eve Torres, Alicia Fox and more.
Going forward, she lost focus in her career with the creative planning nothing special for her that continued for a longer period. Following this repetition, she decided to leave the biggest pro-wrestling promotion, as she wanted to make a name for herself outside it.
Gail Kim joined WWE’s rival promotion of TNA Impact Wrestling Promotion in the year 2010 and never looked behind. The company went on to utilise the female performer in a possible way in the process of establishing her identity. She ended up being a six-time Knockout Champion in the TNA promotion.

Now, in the first week of July, the promotion conducted the Slammiversary PPV which is the biggest event in their calendar. It was the last time that Impact hosted a PPV, as going forward they will be under the banner of Global Force Wrestling. The taping following the Slammiversary has already been aired where Gail Kim returned in a big way.

She declared that 2017 is going to be her last year as a pro-wrestler which means an illustrious career will come to an end, very soon. Being loyal to the Impact promotion, she never intended to leave the promotion and might end the career by performing in the last match, here.
The Hall of Famer in TNA was out of action since last year’s October since she was nagging an injury. She was back in Impact Wrestling on the bygone episode to officially declare that 2017 will mark her last as an in-ring performer. She received a standing ovation from the crowd while leaving the arena after delivering the following comments:
“I’m here to announce officially that at the end of the year 2017, I will be retiring from the ring. So thank you to all the girls that I’ve been working with through the years, the friendships, the bonds… everyone has been like my family. To Impact Wrestling, thank you so much for allowing me to be me.”
