WWE News: List And Details Of PPVs Announced For This Year, So Far!

With the Wrestlemania season is over, this is considered to be a fresh start in the WWE programming. The Superstar Shakeup process has also been done to give a drastic change to the roster of both Raw and Smackdown Live.

Going forward, we are about to receive a bunch of brand exclusive PPVs until the second biggest PPV of the summer, which comes around in August. WWE Network has confirmed these big events stored for us for the entire summer season. Take a look at the given list:

Payback (April 30) – Raw

This will be the fifth consecutive instance of the Payback PPV since it began back in 2013. This year it will feature two cross-brand matches despite being a Raw-exclusive event. The first PPV after Wrestlemania will take place at the SAP Center in San Jose, California

Backlash (May 21) – Smackdown

After becoming one of the most successful PPVs of the last year, this year Backlash is returning, much earlier. This will mark the first Smackdown-exclusive PPV after Mania which will be hosted by the All-State arena in Chicago, Illinois.

Extreme Rules (June 4) – Raw

This will be the night where every match will feature in a special stipulation. It is also going to be the night where Brock Lesnar will return to action, supposedly. The ninth edition of Extreme Rules event will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Money in the Bank (June 18) – Smackdown

The exciting night which revolves around the infamous briefcase will be hosted as a Smackdown-exclusive PPV, this year. Starting from 2010, it will be the 8th edition of the exciting night which will take place at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Bad Blood (July 9) – Raw

Another PPV from the older non-PG gimmick will be brought back with this instance. After almost a decade the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut will be the host to this returning PPV which will be a Raw-exclusive one.

Battleground (July 23) – Smackdown

This is the last confirmed PPV before Summerslam for now. Starting from 2013, this will be the fifth edition of the Battleground PPV. As you can see it is going to be a Smackdown-exclusive one with the infamous Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia being the host to it.

Summerslam (August 20) – Dual brand

The biggest party of the summer will keep continuing its return to the New York. The Barclays Center in Brooklyn will be the host to this event for a third consecutive year. Starting from 1988, it will mark the 30th anniversary of the Summerslam PPV.
