For quite sometimes, WWE is bringing more names from the indie scene in order to increase the fanbase, globally. There’s a portion of the fans of the pro-wrestling universe who are extremely fond of the in-ring technicians present around the independent wrestling scene. They might not get recognition for not belonging to a big company but nobody can take away the talents they have got.
As a result, stars like Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens or AJ Styles are the mainstay performers in the WWE. All of them started their careers making a name for themselves on the indie scenes. With the success they have got, it is evident that WWE is looking to bring some more.
As per reports from Pro-wrestling sheet, WWE has recently signed four such indie scene wrestlers. These are Australian independent wrestler Evie, Former WCPW Women’s Champion Nixon Newell, former Cruiserweight Classic participant Fabian Aichner, and Germany’s Axel Dieter Jr.
The main concern for the WWE officials is the NXT scene. Ever since the brand split took place, the main roster needed more names added to it from the NXT brand. It caused a number of major names getting snatched from the developmental territory leaving a huge void out there.
This is the reason why the reigning NXT champion Asuka has been undefeated for more than 175 matches, till date and has no intention to lose it. Despite she has nothing to prove at NXT, she will be forced to remain there considering the lack of top female names, there.

These new recruits are likely to start their time at the Performance centre, soon to make to the NXT scene, as early as possible. In addition, WWE has also signed the former TNA Knockout tag team champion, Thea Trinidad, better known as Rosita.
In case you don’t know, Trinidad has a connection with WWE, previously since she was one of the Rosebuds from Adam Rose’s cheerleaders. Recently, she is playing the role of AJ Lee in the biopic on Paige that is set to release at the end of this year.
Lastly, Rosita also competed in the WWE on NXT scene. She appeared in a singles contest against Asuka which ended in a losing effort. The match took place in October, last year.
