WWE News: More Backstage Update on Kevin Owens Attacking Mr McMahon

The segment that Kevin Owens and Vince McMahon had on Smackdown Live is considered to be as one of the best of all time. Whenever the Boss returns to either Raw or Smackdown, it becomes a special occasion for the fans. With his growing age, The Boss is no more capable of making regular appearances.

But, whenever he does the same, it becomes a headliner. In the latest appearance, he had a confrontation against Kevin Owens which will get remembered by the fans for Owen’s heelish antics towards an old man who could barely defend himself.

While addressing the situation between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens, the chairman announced a match between the two of them inside the Hell in a Cell. Quite expectedly, the prizefighter did not like the announcement and went righter after the Boss to beat him down.

He started with a headbutt which led McMahon to bleed from his forehead right on the scene. Being a fighter, The Boss wanted to fight back, but instead ate a few kicks from Owens which ended with a frog splash off the top rope. Medical staff came out alongside Stephanie McMahon to help her father out of the ring.

As per the earlier reports, Mr McMahon might have bladed himself before the segment so that blood occurs following the headbutt. Vaseline was used to stop the blood temporarily, but that started to flow following the brutal shot from Owens.

The recent one from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggested the blood came out, accidentally. The officials have no intentions to bring it out, at all considering WWE still does not want to create blood on PG-TV. So, Mr McMahon did not apply any blade to cut himself before the segment. But, there’s no denying that the blood was the reason to bring more intensity into it.

Now that what transpired, the Hell in a Cell match between McMahon and Owens has become more personal than ever. The former Smackdown commissioner is supposed to take out all his frustrations on the heel superstar inside the structure. We also expect some daredevil stunts from him, as well.
