Lana has received a sudden push after joining the Smackdown Live roster. She does not have any previous experience in NXT or the main roster when it comes to in-ring action. But, her incredible athleticism and fans have supported her while getting the title hunt. Despite being the heel, the WWE Universe always chanted “We want Lana” which is quite a good thing for Rusev’s wife.

This is the reason why she debuted in a championship match at the Money in the Bank PPV. Although she took Naomi to the extreme limit, she failed to capture the title. The blame goes to Carmella who provided a distraction with the Money in the Bank briefcase in between the matchup.

That earned her yet another rematch for the title on last week’s Smackdown. She tried to capitalise by delivering a sneak attack on the champion. But, Naomi fired back with great ease and pinned Lana with her pendant move, the top rope moon assault.

However, Lana came up with another complaint on her Twitter handle by posting a picture. As given here, the picture indicates that Lana’s shoulder was not completely down while the referee was counting. So, she called it an unfair decision and might continue with it on Smackdown to receive another title shot.

It was noticed by the Smackdown GM, Daniel Bryan and he granted yet another rematch to her. On this upcoming episode of Tuesday Night, she will face Naomi again in a title match. This would ensure a filler feud for this time span before anything bigger comes up in the time of Summerslam 2017.

As we have seen previously, Lana plays the heel character, quite well with her annoying personality. So, we expected her to come up with a new excuse to the show runners of the Smackdown in order to carry forward the rivalry.

However, with the lesser experience, we cannot expect her to be the next Women’s Champion, thus early. Rather, Naomi should walk into the biggest event of the summer to defend the championship which he captured back at Wrestlemania.
