As part of the Superstar Shakeup, the women’s division on Raw got a huge makeover. It was a long time coming since it was becoming dull due to Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Bayley involving in the title picture for quite a long time now.
The first two of them was part of a rivalry which lasted over three long months and had a uncountable number of matches.
In the meantime, Charlotte became 4-time women’s champion and Sasha held the title for three times. The frequent title changes stopped only after Bayley picked it up prior to the Fastlane.
As of now, there are plenty of names on the roster to create some fresh feuds. Emma, Mickie James, Alexa Bliss and a revamped Dana Brooke are part of the roster, whereas, Charlotte has found a new home on Smackdown Live.
Now, the question is how would the Raw women’s title picture go on from this point onwards. Nia Jax is the one who has been dominant than ever before. Even last week, she showed her strength by putting down everyone present in the ring.
So, quite evidently, she would stay in the title picture for the upcoming weeks. As reported by 434.com, the next Raw-exclusive PPV will feature two matches from the women’s division. In the title match, Bayley will defend the title against Nia Jax.
In the other one, it is likely that there would be a triple threat match or a fatal-4-way match in which Sasha Banks, Mickie James, Alexa Bliss & Emma are supposed to involve.
The latest from SportsKeeda.com suggests that the championship planning would be focused on Sasha Banks as the time progresses. For now, she is likely to involve in a feud against Emma after Payback.
Bayley, on the other hand, will receive Alexa Bliss and Mickie James as her title challengers once she is done with Nia.
Both Sasha and Bayley would come out victorious in their respective feuds while heading to Summerslam. A heel turn for The Boss is kept reserved just prior to that. Once that inevitable happens then she would challenge Bayley for the title at Summerslam.
Sasha is expected to win back the title, once again at the second biggest PPV of the year. This time, she will grab it for a longer time to cement her legacy. This bunch of storylines will keep unfolding around the upcoming summer.
