Shinsuke Nakamura has finally made his main roster debut on Smackdown Live, last week. Ever since he has lost the NXT title to Bobby Roode, it was evident that he is coming up to either Raw or Smackdown. Since he was not booked in the post-Wrestlemania episode of Raw, his appearance on the very next day was inevitable.
That’s what exactly happened when Nakamura made his spectacular entrance on Tuesday Night’s hottest show. The fans erupted in joy after seeing him interrupting to the Hollywood A-lister, the Miz.
But, the question is that will he be continuing to stay on the same brand with the Superstar Shake up coming up? The company has not disclosed much detail about the event, so far. We don’t know how the entire event will go by. But, it is likely that some big changes will be made to both the roster on Raw and Smackdown.
As per the latest updates, Shinsuke Nakamura will continue to stay on the same brand. No shift is being considered for him. WWE creative understood that there will be a big void on the blue brand after John Cena has gone on to a hiatus. So, he would be replaced by Nakamura.
There’s no doubt that it will be a perfect choice for the fans always back him up. With a couple of big feud coming forward, he would be able to cement his main eventer legacy here in the WWE, as well.
Speaking of the feuds leads us to his first opponent on the main roster. Since he debuted interrupting the Miz, it is likely that he will be his first PPV opponent at Backlash. At this time, The Miz is without any opponent after getting over with his feud with Cena.
Another much-anticipated feud is already being planned among the creative that is of Nakamura vs. AJ Styles. These two had built their career in Japan by main eventing several nights. Now, they will look to lock horns, once again at the pinnacle of sports entertainment.
WWE writers would like to use him more in the marquee matches rather than the weekly televised shows. He has the calibre to sell out the bigger PPV events and should be utilized to full potential.
