WWE News: Reason Why Xavier Woods Did Not Visit India With The New Day

The New Day was in India for a promotional tour, last week. Apart from promoting the WWE products to the people, they were also the part of the ongoing IPL schedule.
They appeared on the Extra Innings T20 on May 10th edition to bring the Power of Positivity there. The very next day they were present at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai to cheer for the Mumbai Indians.
Now, Xavier Woods’ absence was noticed during this tour. He is being considered as the vocal cord of the group who always keeps on talking something. He was not present with his fellow wrestlers, Kofi Kingston and Big E. The reason behind this was unknown until now.
Xavier Woods was filming some episode of his popular Youtube Show Upupdowndown at the NXT Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. In the middle of the New Day’s India tour, he posted a tweet on his official twitter handle indicating that he was busy in filming some contents for the famous Game show channel invented by him.
As seen in the picture, those tapings featured his fellow wrestler Zack Ryder, NXT female competitor Ember Moon and Brennan Williams. All of the WWE performers are currently sidelined from WWE TV due to some reasons.

The Upupdowndown is basically a show which airs on the WWE Network, exclusively. WWE superstars appear on the episodes to try their hands on the video game and compete with the mastermind, Xavier Woods.
This might not be the only reason why Woods was not seen in India. Two months ago, the private media leak scandal happened with Paige where Woods’ name was indulged to it. In the leaked media, we could spot him alongside Paige in a compromising position.
Since then, WWE might have been careful using him as the representative of the company, especially in the subcontinent. So, the decision might be made by the officials in the first place.
The New Day was moved to the Smackdown Live brand, last month. It is expected that they would show up in June on WWE TV, once again.
