The latest announcement on their Twitter handle confirmed that the human wrecking ball, Rob Van Dam is returning to in-rig action as part of the tournament in June. It will be after quite a long time that the fans will witness the returning one in action.

Starting from June 10th the series will continue for the next 30 weeks. It will be kicked off from the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. More details are yet come about the tournament, soon. It will be held in an elimination format with an undisputed champion crowning in the end.
Rob Van Dam had his last run in the company in the 2013-14 season. He returned as part of the Money in the Bank PPV in 2013. The crowd accepted a performer like him with an open heart. But, with all the supports by his side, WWE failed to arrange something meaningful to him and the run is said to be a failure.
