WWE News: Seth Rollins Will Continue His Feud With Samoa Joe Upon Return
Feb 17, 2017 at 5:42 PM
Seth Rollins was injured at a time when the creative was done finalizing the match card of Wrestlemania. The sudden hiatus of the Architect has definitely made a big void on the Raw roster and WWE has got a major headache by virtue of this. It was a completely planned attack but got wrong at one point when Samoa Joe locked in the Coquina clutch. Rollins’ already damaged knee got ruptured at that point causing the MCL to get damaged severely.
The rumors suggested that Samoa suffered much heat from the WWE creative after that incident. He was already dealing with another past incident from 2015 when his muscle buster move caused Tyson Kidd’s career so much so that his career was over.
However, PWIsider.com reported that these are not true and the creative is still on for a push for him. As a result, we have seen another attack by Joe on this week’s Raw. Furthermore, he pinned Roman Reigns in his very first match. This is what the source had to offer:
“The Rollins injury was obviously just a freak thing, it’s just that Joe happened to be the person he was in the ring with. If there was any heat on him, they certainly wouldn’t be having Joe boast and take credit for the injury.”
According to a report from cagesideseats.com, Seth Rollins will return to hunt down the destroyer. There are still speculations whether his injury is legit or not. Many believe that WWE just made him sitting at home just to keep the match with Triple H in suspense. Even if he does not come back in time for Wrestlemania, these two will lock horns for the better part of the upcoming summer.
Samoa Joe will also start performing on the Raw house shows replacing Rollins. Sami Zayn is going to be his probable opponent, as of now.
