WWE News: Shane McMahon Confirmed Return To Smackdown Next Week
Oct 20, 2017 at 11:47 AM
Shane McMahon has been absent on Smackdown Live ever since suffering the loss at the hands of Kevin Owens at Hell in a Cell. He had the match fairly won, at one point. But, he chose to climb up to the top of the cell structure to deliver more punishments to his opponent which cost him to a great extent.
Sami Zayn showed up out of nowhere to help his former best friend. He put Kevin Owens over Shane McMahon’s body to let Owens win the match. This was the biggest shocker at this times after which Shane was gone from the show.
Going forward, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens started to bond with each other on Smackdown Live. They are claiming that Smackdown has become their show, as of late and they will continue to do whatever they want. Plus, Owens keeps on boasting about the fact that he has put Shane to the injury list for an indefinite time.

As per updates from WWE.com, the commissioner of WWE’s blue brand had suffered multiple broken ribs. So, he was advised to take rest in his home to recuperate from the devastating leap off the top of the cell structure. But, with the antics of Owens and Zayn growing on his show, he is coming back, next week to address the duo’s actions.
As seen on this week’s episode, the Canadian brothers took multiple shots to Daniel Bryan since he can’t compete inside the ring, anymore. They blasted the GM with multiple nasty words and even called him as a ‘housewife’.

The insult continued even after the show as the duo picked up a big win over the team of Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura. They went to the backstage area and found out Bryan to bad-mouth, once again. A calm Bryan informed them that he is not going to do anything about it. Rather, Shane McMahon will do it, himself.
As clarified by the GM, the commissioner will be back in charge from next week onwards. He will appear on Smackdown Live to perhaps make the buildup for a matchup at Survivor Series PPV. More on this scenario will be cleared when Tuesday Night’s hottest show airs on October 25th.
