Jan 19, 2017 at 5:07 PM
Shane McMahon was last seen competing inside the ring at the Survivor Series PPV in the match, where team Raw took on against team Smackdown. He was a surprise addition to the team blue to give the fans a major treat. He performed some of his jaw-dropping moves before the audience before a mid-air spear by Roman Reigns eliminated him. He suffered some minor concussions due to this after the PPV.
Now, it’s been proven that he can be a major box office attraction to the WWE Universe performing inside the squared circle. This is the reason the rumor mill was running wild, saying that Shane McMahon will be a part of this year’s Royal Rumble match. However, he himself said there’s no way that he will be entering the 30th edition of Royal Rumble.

This means that the next outing for him will be at Wrestlemania 33. As per reports from allwrestlingnews.com, the creative has planned a major feud for him with a certain Smackdown superstar.
Dean Ambrose was the one who was supposed to be Shane’s opponent. As per the previous reports, Dean was about to turn heel in future to take on the Smackdown commissioner at Wrestlemania. However, the plans got changed and he indulged in a feud with the Miz for the Intercontinental title. This one should continue until the biggest PPV of the year and hence Ambrose is out of the picture.
A feud with Brock Lesnar was also planned after the beast struck him with an F-5 after his match with Randy Orton was over at Summerslam. That was wiped out after Goldberg resurfaced in the WWE all of a sudden. However, since Lesnar is advertised from Smackdown en route Wrestlemania, there are still chances of a match between Shane and Lesnar.
