For now, Sheamus is one-half of the Raw Tag Team Champions alongside Cesaro. They have created quite a bad blood with the Hardy Boyz ever since the latter has returned to the WWE after a decade. With the momentum on their side, Sheamus and Cesaro have won the titles back at the Extreme Rules PPV.
The storyline featuring the Hardyz and them is still continuing which means that there will be a rematch for the titles in the near future. Since the Raw-exclusive PPV is Great Balls of Fire is approaching towards us, the chances are that the titles will be on the line at that event. However, nothing regarding this rematch has been confirmed, till date.
Meanwhile, the current reports from the Wrestling Observer stated that Sheamus will not be available for sometimes in WWE programming owing to his latest movie commitment. Dave Meltzer confirmed that due to this upcoming movie, The Celtic Warrior will have to stay away from WWE programming in the near future.

The former WWE Champion will feature in the first movie directed by the actor, Josh Duhamel. The project has been given the title of “The Buddy Games” starring Sheamus and comedian Mick Swardson. The WWE Studios is going to be one of the producers for the project. So, it is going to be a home production for Sheamus.
The source also clarified that WWE will let sometimes off to Sheamus due to the filming of this movie. Apparently, he will be written off television following the Summerslam PPV. He might remain out of action for six weeks.
When it comes to Hollywood movies, neither WWE Studios nor Sheamus is strange to this industry. The stable has been part of big movies like The Condemned, The Marine Series, 12 Rounds and more. Sheamus, on the other hand, has been a part of movies like The Escapist, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, and Assault of Darkness.
The news of the upcoming movie was given after Sheamus appeared in a fallout video on this past week’s Raw which was hosted in Los Angeles, California. The Irishman interrupted an interview of Josh Duhamel to speak about the same.
