WWE Raw will host its 25th anniversary in January. The company had an official announcement regarding this before the Survivor Series PPV. With the brand rivalry being on a higher note, the officials of the flagship show of the company had immense praise for the product that the red brand has been producing for years now.
The visionary mind of Vince McMahon came up with the idea of a scripted show with the renowned names in pro-wrestling. It led birth to the phenomenon what Monday Night Raw is today. With 25 years in a straight row made this program the longest running weekly episodic television show in the history of television.
On January 22nd, 2018, the show will host its silver jubilee. The great edition will be hosted at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York and the Manhattan Center in Manhattan, simultaneously. It will be a tribute to the very first arena that hosted the show back in the 90s. It is expected that we will witness some big things on that night.
Already some of the who’s who of the pro-wrestling industry have been confirmed to appear on WWE Raw 25th anniversary. Names like The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Kevin Nash, Mick Foley have been announced to hype-up the show. Also, there might be more in-store.
According to the reports of cagesideseats.com, WWE is reaching to more legendary names of the company present and past to make an appearance on the show. Also, since it’s impossible to bring each one of them, the company has planned to tape some video messages from them to air on live TV.
These will be some video messages from the former legends and the company associates to share their experience of WWE Raw. The will reveal their feelings on this milestone episode of the show. Apparently, not only wrestlers but also other names who worked in different roles in the company will grace these video messages.
With that being said, we definitely have some moments to go back to the memory lane. It is going to be the go home WWE Raw for Royal Rumble 2018 which means WWE will pull of a big episode on that night to hype-up the first PPV of the year.
