As stated earlier, WWE creative suffered a massive roadblock after Braun Strowman suffered an unfortunate injury following this week’s Monday Night Raw. It is still not clear whether the injury was already suffered prior to the show. It might be the case that Roman Reigns’ might have botched the chair shot on his nemesis to cause the injury.
Whatever the case is, it will sideline him from WWE TV for a span of four to eight weeks. Due to the concussion, he will not available for the Extreme Rules PPV. Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman in an Ambulance match was the supposed main event for the night. Also, he’s been removed from all the WWE house shows for the month of June and July.
WWE has still not officially given any updates on the injury. They might be waiting for the next edition of Raw to let the people know about Strowman’s condition. Meanwhile, the man himself took his Instagram handle to address the injury.
The mountain among men stated that this is an unfortunate road bump in his career. But, he will finish what he started upon return. The indication is that he might return as the unstoppable force after being recovered, fully. Check out his statement:
“I will return to finish what I’ve started and that’s carving my name in history as the most destructive thing WWE has ever seen. This surgery is just a minor speed bump I will return bigger stronger faster and even more dangerous than ever mark my words I’m the definition of unstoppable!!!”
There are some additional headaches for the creative as they have to find out two brand new opponents for both Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. In case you don’t know, Braun Strowman was the one who was originally supposed to be the challenger for Brock Lesnar’s title at the Great Balls of Fire PPV.
As for now, Bray Wyatt will take his place supposedly renewing his rivalry with Roman Reigns on Raw. This feud would be arranged on a temporary basis to fill up a marquee match at the Extreme Rules PPV. The indication of this one was given after Roman Reigns was featured against Wyatt in the recent live events in tag team contests.
