The historic women’s Money in the Bank match is all set to take place on this Sunday. The Scottrade Center in Saint Louis, Missouri will be the host to it. Five women from the Smackdown women’s division will compete in it to be called the first ever Miss Money in the Bank.
Charlotte, Naomi, Becky Lynch, Carmella, and Tamina are those five superstars. Now, the winner of the contest will receive a contract which guarantees them a championship opportunity. It will allow her to invoke the clause anytime she wants which is the biggest advantage.
Now, as per the reports from 434.com, Carmella is the biggest favourite to win the contest. James Ellsworth by her side might turn out to be the reason that she holds the most chance. He will distract other women being present at the ringside giving her the upper hand.
Plus, WWE creative is very high in the Princess of Staten Island for quite sometimes now. Giving her with the Money in the Bank will allow them to bring her into the championship scenario, gradually. This will be good for her since making her the champion all of a sudden, might harm her character.
The betting odds are also favouring Carmella. As revealed by 5Dimes, these are current odds for the women’s ladder match in which the heel female superstar claims the top spot. Check out the odds here,
Becky Lynch +350
Charlotte Flair +900
As you can see, following Carmella are Becky Lynch and Natalya standing in the same position. Since the later one is a villain on TV, Natalya is also being considered as one of the favourites to win the match.
Once she wins it, a program between her and Naomi will kick off on Smackdown. This is reserved by the creative for quite a while now but might come to fruition once the Money in the Bank is over.
Charlotte is kept out of the equation for now since the writers want her to be off from the title picture for quite a while. Plus, a woman with her calibre does not need to become champion via a contract, at this stage.
Tamina is the least favourite, quite expectedly. However, these betting odds cam be altered at any point of time considering WWE keeps on changing their plans on a daily basis. We might get a new favourite at the day of the PPV, itself.
