Finn Balor has already gone the required shoulder surgery and started the rehab process. At this point, it is quite difficult to say when he is going to return but he is scheduled to be out of action for six months. That means his grand return may occur in the month of February or March just before Wrestlemania 33. It is for sure that the man would not want to miss the biggest stage either.
Recently, Finn Balor appeared on former WWE Announcer Jim Ross’s podcast and addressed several issues including Summerslam match, injury and return. He commented that when he would return he would be stronger than ever. However, he did not confirm the fact that he will be participating at next year’s Wrestlemania from Orlando, Florida.

The reason behind this is that doctors’ reports suggest that a torn labrum may even take eight to nine months to get healed up. In addition, Balor said that he doesn’t want to take any risk with the injury and hence he is not in a hurry to make his inevitable return. So, going by the latest reports, the Demon King will miss next year’s Wrestlemania which may turn out to be a big blow to the company.
Balor was also asked by JR that if he agrees with the fact that Seth Rollins is unsafe to wrestle with since “The Architect” has been the cause of quite a few superstars’ injury including Balor. But, he denied it saying that it’s not true, at all. Wrestling is a physical sport and hence injuries can come at any point and he is not got injured for the first time, either.
Back at Summerslam, he dislocated his shoulder by a powerbomb on the barricade by Seth Rollins. He finished off the match successfully and also defeated Rollins for the championship belt.
