WWE News: WWE announces new PPV, entire PPV schedule for rest of the 2016

Fans wanted to get back some old pay-per-views back in the WWE pay-per-view schedule and they got it in a big way following the brand split. WWE Smackdown Live has already announced the inaugural brand specific PPV, Backlash on September 11th from The Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia. It will be the PPV exclusively available for the Smackdown roster.
Now, adding to the news, WWE announced the third PPV’s schedule following the biggest event of the summer, Summerslam. The old classic PPV, No Mercy is coming back as Smackdown’s own exclusive PPV. After 8 long years, the PPV is coming back on October 9th from Sacramento, California. The venue for the PPV is the Golden 1 center.

“WWE: NO MERCY is coming to Sacramento’s new entertainment and sports venue Golden 1 Center for the first time ever on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at 4:30 p.m. PST. This is your chance to see WWE Champion Dean Ambrose, John Cena, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio and many more of your favorite WWE Superstars. Prices start at $15! Tickets go on sale Friday, August 19, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. PST and will be available for purchase at Ticketmaster.com or by phone at 800-745-3000.”

August 21: Summerslam – Brooklyn, New York (for both Raw and Smackdown)
September 11: Backlash – Richmond, Virginia (for Smackdown)
September 25: Clash of Champions – Indianapolis (for Raw)
October 9: No Mercy – Sacramento, California (for Smackdown)
November 20: Survivor Series – Toronto, Canada (for both Raw and Smackdown)
December 18: Roadblock – Pittsburgh (for Raw)
