WWE News: WWE Hall of Famers Confirmed their Return to the Company

Wrestlemania season is approaching towards us, and WWE is likely to take all the needed steps to hype it up with the annual Royal Rumble event.

In addition to it, there will be a couple of more things that will make the month of January even more significant, this year. There will be a Mixed Match Challenge contest starting from January 16, exclusively on Facebook Live.

Plus, WWE Raw will be celebrating its 25th anniversary on January 22nd at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Also, some legendary WWE superstars from the past will be gracing the show to make it worth a watch. Recently, two WWE Hall of Famers confirmed their appearances for these two shows.

According to the social media sites of the WWE, Beth Phoenix will be making her come back to the company for the Mixed Match Challenge contest. She will be doing commentary for this show hosted on Facebook. Previously, she was seen in the same role for an episode of Mae Young Classic, as well.

With this confirmation coming in, the former Women’s and Divas Champion will be back to work some more dates with the company. Check out the updates from WWE.com,

“As revealed by newly-announced WWE Mixed Match Challenge hosts Renee Young and Byron Saxton on Facebook Live today, WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix will join Michael Cole, and Corey Graves on the announce team for the Facebook Watch exclusive show. The Glamazon will certainly provide a unique perspective on the ground-breaking Facebook Watch show, beginning Jan. 16 at 10 ET/ 7 PT.”

If the show gets successful, then WWE is likely to retain the show for the entire year in their schedule, going forward. As you can see, the regular names from Raw commentary team will be there to give company to Beth.

Apart from this confirmation, the legendary and perhaps the most loved commentators of all time, Jim Ross will be back in WWE for one night only on WWE Raw 25th anniversary. The veteran name was asked about the same by the fans, and he gave the positive update on Twitter, as you can see above. No wonder, we would love to hear from good old JR and Jerry ‘the King’ Lawler, once again on the flagship program revisiting our childhood days.
