As of the previous reports the absence of Paige from WWE TV tapings was said to be an injury. Paige’s mother has now clarified that her daughter is injured and taking time off for the same. Saraya Knight, who runs a wrestling company in England, took her Twitter handle to address the rumors that have been running around the social media.

According to the latest report from the youngest Divas champion in the history of the company is dealing with back and neck injuries, lately. Hence she took the time off.

Though, Dave Meltzer adds, “Paige is also dealing with “other issues” outside of her injuries, and some higher ups in WWE were concerned about her future in the company.”

There have been constant rumors regarding Paige and Del Rio’s contract with WWE. They both are supposed to be unhappy with their position in the company right now and willing to leave. The injury is said to be not legitimate and it is being used to cover up the specified “other issues” by Meltzer. reported the following by quoting:

“She is currently dating fellow WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio, but that relationship could be causing some backstage issues for both competitors. The couple was said to be upset with being drafted to different brands, which was revealed to be a decision WWE officials may have done purposefully. All of these issues may cause Del Rio to leave the company this fall, but Paige is expected to be sticking around for the next decade. Unfortunately, WWE officials are very concerned about her future in WWE.”

She is named as one of the main leads of the Divas revolution but was pushed to play the side role alongside the newly emerged Divas which is supposed to be the main reason for frustration. His boyfriend, Del Rio, too is not on the same page with the Creative and especially with Triple H. As a result, he might leave the company, at some point.

Paige though is supposed to stay in the Women’s locker room as an integral part. She is supposed to miss the Summerslam PPV. No official news has come regarding her return.
