We are all set to witness the first-ever Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, tomorrow night. History will be made since the female competitors have never competed in a ladder match before. This would be another accomplishment for the women wrestlers in the ongoing Women’s Evolution in the WWE.
Now, WWE has let us known that five women from the Smackdown brand will be participating in the match and they are Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Natalya, Carmella, and Tamina. All of them were determined over a shot to the WWE Smackdown Women’s title. Hence, the commissioner, Shane McMahon had come up with this path-breaking idea.
However, the announcement itself had a bit of twist. Never in the history of the Money in the Bank, a ladder match was announced with an odd number of participants. Plus, this was an abrupt announcement from the WWE creative which was another indication that there might be some twists in store for us.
Confirming the same, a report from 434.com is stating that WWE is now advertising the match with six participants in it. No official announcement was made by the company on their website or social media sites. Hence, it is being adapted as a promotional strategy for now with the mystery set to unfold on Sunday night.
This is a blockbuster news for the fans and might increase the last minute ticket selling for the show. The creative was much worried about the even not sold out, entirely. Now, they are coming up with an interesting spoiler to make it up, as much as possible.
The question, however, is, who is going to be the last entrant in this match. The first name comes into mind is Maria Kanellis. She is all set to make her debut on Smackdown Live as per the latest reports. But, prior to that, she might leave an impact on the PPV night by getting included in the Smackdown women’s roster.
Another possibility is that Nikki Bella might return on the night. Although we have not heard any definite news about her injury status, WWE might come up with unimaginable moves to leave the fans in awe. For now, we have to wait and see to know more about it till the PPV kicks off.
