Michael Cole welcomed to the first ever WWE Hall of Fame forum. Hulk Hogan came out as the first guest of the night. Ric Flair came out next and Shawn Michaels followed him next. Michael Cole announced that the topic of the night would be John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar. He also reminded the result of the Summerslam main event where Brock Lesnar defeated John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight championship. Last week, ithad been announced that Brock Lesnar would defend his WWE World Heavyweight championship against John Cena at night of Champions in a four weeks’ time. Michael Cole requested Shawn Michaels to start things off. Shawn Michaels was asked by Michael Cole what were John Cena’s chances of taking the WWE World Heavyweight championship away from the champion Brock Lesnar.

Shawn Michaels said that with all due respect, conditions were all good, consider it happen. He said that this panel was like a cross roads. He believed he would take John Cena’s name out and it might be Cena’s time to say when. Hulk Hogan interrupted him and said everybody knew what their time was. John Cena’s time was not up, he could still go.

Now Michael Cole asked Ric Flair about his view who had earlier stated that John Cena would not be able to win. He said that he agreed with Shawn Michaels but Cena was the franchise, the fifteen times World champion. But he did not think that Cena would be able to beat Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions.

Michael Cole now asked Hulk Hogan to give his prediction. Hulk Hogan said that he knew John Cena personally, his quote ‘Hustle, Royal, Respect’ was not just a marketing quote, this was really John Cena. Cena wrestled well, he was a tough guy, so he would like John Cena.

Ric Flair said that he liked John Cena too. Shawn Michaels said that everybody liked John Cena, the chants did not matter. Hulk Hogan reminded their match at Chicago where Brock Lesnar beat the heck out of Cena but Cena won the match at the end.

Shawn Michaels said that John Cena got a beating which nobody ever got. He was not the same anymore. Hulk Hogan said that he still thought John Cena would take the victory out at Night of Champions. Shawn Michaels said that Hulk Hogan actually did not believe it, neither did Ric Flair, Shawn Micahels and the fans because it was unbelievable.

John Cena interrupted the discussion. He entered the ring and said that everybody wanted to hear from him after Summerslam. Everybody thought that he would not be able to beat Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions. He said that he had personal respect towards all the three legends that were sitting on the panel.

Cena continued that everybody saw what happened at Summerslam. He was manhandled by Brock Lesnar. But he did not give up, he would fight Brock Lesnar again. He said that fans might think why would he want to get the beating again, but h would like to bring the fight to Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions. He said that he was going to night of Night of Champions not to beat Brock Lesnar, but to beat Lesnar’s a**. Cena left the ring.
