In a jaw-dropping moment, Shane McMahon returned to his company by crashing the Vincent J McMahon legacy award ceremony when he decided to address some of the problems regarding WWE and wanted back to run RAW. It was a not easy to get McMahon’s empire for obvious but Mr. McMahon did accept his offer with only one “if” included. He has to face and beat Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell at the grandest stage of them all i.e. Wrestlemania. “No chance in Hell?”
The New Day vs. Neville and Lucha Dragons
The reigning defending tag team champions not only made up with Edge and Christian at Fastlane, they were on a roll by pulling off the second victory over a game Neville and Lucha Dragons. Both the teams have pulled all the stops in the encounter. The high-flying Kalisto and Neville both managed to deliver the high risk 450 splashes on Big E and Xavier Woods which left Kofi Kingston and Sin Cara in the ring. Kofi delivered a trouble in paradise to pick up the win.
Dean Ambrose confronted Brock Lesnar
How much a man can take? Dean Ambrose was taken to the medical facility after being assaulted by Lesnar at the parking lot. But, thanks to his resilience he made his way back to the ring to absorb some more punishment from the beast. Paul Heyman demanded a fresh opponent for Lesnar at Wrestlemania and he got one as the Lunatic Fringe. The beast not only did accept the challenge but also gave a sneak preview of what’s waiting for Ambrose at Wrestlemania.
The Usos vs. The Ascension
The Dudley Boyz is literally running the tag division and since their return, it will be their first Wrestlemania and they expect nothing but a good fight. The Dudleyz set up the Usos a sneak attack by the Ascension. But, that was not enough to keep the Usos away from the victory.
Jericho and Styles vs. Heath Slater and Curtis Axel
It was totally out of respect that two of the toughest competitors shook hands after the rubber match. But, the social outcasts decided to interrupt the handshake and talked some trash as usual. But, that only helped them to be the first victim of ‘Y2AJ’. Styles took out rest of the outcast members whereas Jericho locked in the Walls of Jericho to pick up the victory.
The Wyatt family vs. Ryback, Kane and Big Show
The Wyatt family finally got over the Titans of the WWE. After, Ryback, Kane and Big Show took control of the match this time too after they wrecked their opponents quite smoothly at the early going. But, problems started when the big guy left his fellow giants for running after the monstrous Braun Strowman. The show was already taken out with Kane was the only man left inside the ring. Wyatt delivered the sister Abigail to pick up the win.
Sasha Banks vs. Naomi
The Boss and the ‘Lass kicker’ were again at full force on RAW against team BAD. The match was a one-on-one affair between Sasha and Naomi but Tamina did interfere and out came Lynch as the support. The Boss picked up the win after that easily. The interesting part was that Charlotte came out to make a crack between them as it was previously announced that Sasha and Becky will face each other for the number one contender’s spot. A good strategy was taken by the champion for sure.
Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus
The main event of RAW was all set as Roman Reigns was scheduled to face his old opponent. Now, obviously, we did expect that the League of Nations would eventually interfere in the match. But, what we did witness was unthinkable as the Game single-handedly destroyed Reigns in a bloody encounter.
Triple H made that abundantly clear at the end of Raw’s main event, which began as Reigns vs. Sheamus bout turned quickly into a beating of the No. 1 contender by The Game. Triple H made it his business to make sure Reigns never makes it to Dallas once The Celtic Warrior had beaten The Big Dog down.
