WWE Raw Full Results With Videos: January 16, 2017

The third episode of WWE Raw of 2017 came live last night from the Verizon Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The show was headlined by the beast incarnate, Brock Lesnar who returned to the show after a long hiatus. Plus, we saw Jeri-KO standing tall as the faces of WWE Raw and the United States as they possess both the prime titles on the flagship show. Here’s what transpired on last night’s show.

An utter chaos to start the show

WWE Raw kicked off with a tribute to the late Jimmy the Snuka. A video footage was shown in honour of the great Martin Luthar King. We went live with the crowd booing heavily as Roman Reigns walked into the ring just to get interrupted by Paul Heyman, who warned that his client is present in the building. Jeri-KO, Rollins, Sami Zayn, Braun Strowman came out one after another to fill the ring. Brock Lesnar interrupted to have a face-off with Zayn and Strowman. Reigns connected with superman punches to Jeri-KO and Strowman, But, Lesnar caught him and delivered an emphatic F-5 to close the opening segment.

Enzo-Cass vs. Rusev and Zinder Mahal

Enzo was back in action after suffering minor concussions at the hands of Rusev. They got rolling instantly after Cass connected with a big boot to Mahal and Enzo followed it with a big splash from the top rope to pick up the win.

Ariya Daivari vs. Lince Dorado

Daivari picked up the win in a short match by locking in the camel clutch to Dorado. Jack Gallagher was present on the commentary table. It was announced that on 205 Live, the gentleman will face Daiyavari in an “I forfeit” match.

Cesaro-Sheamus vs. Gallows-Anderson (WWE Tag Team Championship)

This was the first time that the reigning Tag Champs defended their title. Sheamus tried to interfere in the match to save his partner from getting the pin and by mistake took out the referee. Gallows and Anderson connected with the Magic Killer to pin Cesaro after a new referee came in. But the original referee got up and said that Cesaro-Sheamus got disqualified by knocking him down. So, they retained the title on WWE Raw.

Rich Swann vs. Tony Nese

The match never started as Neville jumped over the barricade and went straight to ambush the Cruiserweight champion. Nese also wanted to get his hands on Swann. But Neville shoved him off and finished the segment by delivering a kick to Swann’s face.

Titus O’Neil vs. Big E

Big Titus had another segment with the New Day and picked up another impromptu match up with one member of the New Day. This week it was Big E against him with Big E’s Royal Rumble spot on the line. After a series of clotheslines, E followed it up with the Big Ending to earn a quick victory over Titus.

Charlotte talks about her Royal Rumble strategy

Charlotte blasted Bayley saying she was living in a fantasy world during her childhood days while she was training in the ring winning state championships. So at the Royal Rumble, she will beat the hugger easily. But Bayley finished off with the rhyme, “Roses are red, violets are blue, at Royal Rumble, I will defeat you.”

Brian Kendrick vs. Cedric Alexander

This was the third Cruiserweight contest on WWE Raw between the two. In the middle of the match, Alicia Fox ran into the ring and helped Cedric grab the bottom rope who was in a submission. This distraction helped her former boyfriend pick up the win with the lumber check to the gut.

A video package went on the air announcing that Kurt Angle is the first Hall of Fame inductee for the class of 2017.

Six Man Tag Team Match

After what transpired in the opening segment, a huge Tag Team match announced for the main event of WWE Raw. Zayn, Rollins, and Reigns teamed up against Strowman and Jeri-KO. The heel team picked up the win after Strowman connected with running power-slam to Zayn after a physical fight among all of the six competitors. After the match, Rollins and Reigns attacked Strowman and put him down on the ramp. Jeri-KO attacked them from behind. After neutralizing Rollins with a chair KO caught Reigns with it as well. He finished off the show by delivering a powerbomb to Reigns through the table.
