WWE Monday Raw this week (March 13,2017) was really good. It was one of the best episodes of Raw since the brand split. The fans witnessed a surprise entry of the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels, hint for Roman Reigns’ possible heel turn, and of course, the ending segment was simply brilliant.

The show started with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman addressing the current Universal champion Goldberg. Now this segment looked kind of unnecessary. There was nothing new about it. Paul Heyman just cut a promo in the way he addressed every opponent of Brock Lesnar. It’s just the style of Heyman which made it look good.

The only downfall from this week were the matches. Even though there were eight matches on this episode but none of the matches were booked for more than five minutes. The focus was more on storylines to go through promos which was good indeed, but matches are a big part of any episode, after all, it is a wrestling show not a segment show.

Nothing much to talk about the matches, the only match that’s worth mentioning was the Tag Team championship no. 1 contender’s match. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson interfered during the match and beat down all four competitors which led to a double DQ. It looks like at WrestleMania, we are going to have a three way Tag Team championship match.

We had a great promo from Kevin Owens addressing Chris Jericho. The only bad thing about it was there was less talk of the US championship. It is not good for the prestige of the title. Later, Jericho announced that he would host highlight reel next week where the ‘real’ Kevin Owens would be his guest.

Roman Reigns called out the Undertaker but Shawn Michaels came out to tell him he should not go against Undertaker at WrestleMania. Michaels’ involvement was not much necessary but it actually boosted up the crowd. Roman’s promo was pretty heelish and that is what everyone is looking for, a heel turn from Roman. After the promo, Braun Strowman attacked Roman and next week a match between the two was announced. Hopefully, Strowman will be in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal match.

And then there was the last segment; it was hilarious. Stephanie McMahon wanted Mick Foley to fire someone from the roster to show everyone his bossy qualities. Foley said it should be Stephanie who should be fired. Triple H came out and fired Foley.

Foley then attacked Triple H with the Mandible Claw but was beaten afterwards. Much to everyone’s surprise, Seth Rollins came out and attacked Triple H. The Game then took advantage of his bad knee and caused a beat down.

Hopefully, Seth Rollins would be cleared for WrestleMania. We are waiting to see where this Mick Foley angle heads. Will the hardcore legend come back for one more match?
