Footage from last week’s brawl between Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns was shown. The show started as the general manager Kurt Angle came out to the arena. Kurt Angle told us a very tragic news that Braun Strowman would be out of action for over six months because of the assault from Roman Reigns last week. Next, he announced a fatal 5-way competition at Extreme Rules to determine the no 1 contender for the Universal championship. The five wrestlers would be; Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns.

Kurt Angle attempted to leave the arena as Roman Reigns interrupted him. He said that they do not need a fatal 5-way match because he was the no 1 contender. He beat the Undertaker at WrestleMania, he put Strowman in the ambulance and he was the only guy around the place who could beat Brock Lesnar for the title.

Finn Balor interrupted them. He said that he was the first Universal champion and he never lost his title. So anyone wanted the title shot, the line started behind him. He reminded that on his first night on Raw, he beat Roman.

Samoa Joe interrupted now who came up with a similar demand. Then there was Bray Wyatt with the same demand. Seth Rollins was the final wrestler to come out who demanded to fight. He said that he was here to fight Samoa Joe. Joe and Rollins ran towards each other and started fighting. Others started fighting inside the ring. Finn Balor stood tall at the end.

Match 1 – Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus

It was a short but entertaining match. It was booked for over five minutes where Sheamus dominated the match for most of the time but Jeff picked up the win. Jeff pinned Sheamus with the Swanton Bomb.

Winner – Jeff Hardy

Match 2 – Alicia Fox vs. Sasha Banks

A really short match which was booked for only three minutes. It came out with an unexpected bottom line where Alicia Fox pinned Sasha Banks clean. She pinned her with the scissor’s kick. Hopefully, this victory marks a title push for Alicia Fox.

Winner – Alicia Fox

Match 3 – WWE Intercontinental championship – Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz

The match was booked for some ten minutes. It certainly was not the best match of the night but entertaining to watch. The match ended in a little awkward style where Miz attempted to low blow Dean which Dean blocked and hit him with a low blow himself as the referee disqualified him. However, he retained the title.

Winner – The Miz by DQ, Dean retained

WWE Raw Women’s champion Alexa Bliss came out to the arena. She cut a very good heel promo. Bayley interrupted her. She invoked her rematch for the title at Extreme Rules. Alexa said that she would never get extreme at Extreme Rules because she did not deserve the title. Bayley attacked Alexa as Alexa fought back. She took out a Kendo Stick and attacked Bayley with it. The segment ended as Alexa stood tall.

Backstage Kurt Angle made it official between Dean Ambrose and The Miz at Extreme Rules for the IC title. The speculation of the match was not decided yet.

Match 4 – TJP and WWE Cruiserweight champion Neville vs. Jack Gallagher and Austin Aries

It was a really entertaining tag team contest. The match was booked really well where the babyface side dominated the match for the most of the time. TJP pinned Jack Gallagher to earn the win for his side.

Winners – Neville and TJP

Backstage Kurt Angle made it official between Alexa Bliss and Bayley for the Raw Women’s title at Extreme Rules and it would be a Kendo Stick on a poll match.

Match 5 – Finn Balor vs. Roman Reigns

It was a superb match. The match was booked for almost fifteen minutes and both wrestlers proved their worth in this match. Roman Reigns won the match and it was a clean victory. Haters would go mad to see this, the match was great though. Roman pinned Balor with a Spear.

Winner – Roman Reigns

The Golden Truth was scheduled to compete in a tag team match but during the entrance, Goldust attacked his own partner R-Truth. Goldust totally destroyed R-Truth. So this team is officially over.

Match 6 – Big Cass vs. Titus O’Neil

Not a good match it was but the promo before it was okay. Big Cass picked up an easy win out of this match. He pinned him with a Big Boot.

Winner – Big Cass

Main Event – Bray Wyatt vs. Seth Rollins

It was a very good match. But we would say Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor was comparatively a better match. After some ten minutes of action Samoa Joe interrupted and attacked Seth Rollins. Samoa Joe and Bray Wyatt started beating down Seth. To surprise everyone Bray attacked Joe too. The show went off the air as Bray Wyatt stood tall.

Winner – Seth Rollins by DQ
