The promotions and hype around the biggest pay-per-view of the summer have already been started with the blockbuster news announced by WWE that Brock Lesnar will take on the returning Randy Orton. The match is, without a doubt, is going to be one of the best one in recent memory considering that these two are veterans in the business.
The duo has entered the big league of WWE in the same year 2002. Despite their illustrious career, the two have faced each other only once in their career during an episode of Smackdown in the year 2002. Orton was treated as a rookie back then whereas Lesnar headed to go on as the next “big thing” and became the youngest (25 years) world champion in history. Interestingly, it was Orton who would go on to break the record, afterwards.
As the rivalry will unfold en route to Summerslam, it is supposed that it will not continue once the event is over and Randy Orton will look for his next opponent. Now, with some leakage continuing with WWE, the company has once again given us some hint about the upcoming feuds which will ride along once Summerslam gets over on August 21st.
With the brand split just getting over the feud is going to be featured from Smackdown. The big matches advertised afterwards Summerslam are WWE Champion Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt, WWE Intercontinental Champion Miz vs. Cesaro and Randy Orton taking on AJ Styles, as reported by wrestlinINC.com
In the much anticipated WWE Draft, WWE Raw has grabbed superstars like Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Charlotte, Finn Balor etc. whereas Smackdown managed to grab top stars like WWE Champion Dean Ambrose, John Cena, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt etc.
The must mention worthy feud afterwards Summerslam will be Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles whereas it seems Bray Wyatt will renew his rivalry against Dean Ambrose. It is, though, yet to see if Dean Ambrose carries one championship belt from that particular brand even after Summerslam.
