Last Monday Night, WWE confirmed a fatal-5-way match for the Extreme Rules PPV. Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Bray Wyatt, Roman reigns and Finn Balor will be competing in this main event match. The winner will earn a shot to the most coveted prize present in the flagship brand.

Although, it was not announced, but the likely scenario is that the victorious one will get to face Brock Lesnar for the championship at the Great Balls of Fire PPV. The next Raw-exclusive PPV will take place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

Now, this match will mark Lesnar’s first since Wrestlemania 33. He is on a hiatus from WWE programming ever since beating Goldberg at the biggest event of the year in Orlando, Florida. He is expected to resurface in the month of June to hype up his first title defence.

As per reports from, Braun Strowman was the original one to get his hands on Lesnar at the July PPV. Now in his absence, Seth Rollins or Finn Balor has major chances to emerge as the number one contender and face the beast.

This match will work to set up even bigger matches for the Summerslam PPV in August. It is known as the biggest event of the summer where both the brands will participate to come up with some mega matches.

As per the rumour mill, if Rollins earns the contender’s spot then we can expect that Samoa Joe might interfere in his championship match costing him the title opportunity. This will set up a big match between these two with an added stipulation. The bad blood around them is ongoing since the beginning of this year and needs a proper finish.

In the case of Balor, there are chances that Stephanie McMahon or Triple H himself might distract him in the title match. This will set up a dream match between Triple H and Finn Balor at Summerslam PPV. There are certain possibilities that The Game will put his protégé over at the biggest party of the summer.

At this time, we are eagerly waiting to witness Brock Lesnar back on WWE TV to see the championship feud getting kick-started. The beast is scheduled to return on the June 12th episode of WWE Raw.
