Stephanie McMahon is absent from WWE television since the Wrestlemania 33 match between her husband, Triple H and Seth Rollins.
She was put through a table on that evening that was a setup to eventually write her off the television programming. After promoting the biggest event of the year, she deserved some well-deserved vacation and the company lets her do so.
In her absence, her father, Vince McMahon appointed Kurt Angle as the new General Manager for Monday Night Raw. The former world champion was back in the WWE during the Wrestlemania weekend and got inducted into the Hall of Fame. He has been doing a pretty good job as the GM, until this past week he received some messages talking trash about him.
The texts showed that someone calling him as a pathetic person and might put his job on the line in the future. As per the recent reports, it is another setup to bring Stephanie McMahon back in her role of the Raw commissioner.
On the latest episode of Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer discussed the topic stating that it was the creative planning to bring back the evil McMahon in order to ‘ruin’ Kurt Angle. It’s obvious that at one point, Stephanie is bound to return, but the question is when.
Considering the rich history between these two, they are bound to collide at one point. It will be interesting to see as of how the storyline progresses around them. We also can’t wait to see how the face vs. evil feud takes off from here.
Also, on this week’s Raw, another mystery was raised when Enzo Amore was attacked for the second time. The revival was the primary suspect behind it. However, we might have missed the biggest clue given by the creative.
Big Cass emerged to the commentary desks asking if any of the members from the team has anything to do with it. Corey Graves said that he would love to shake the man’s hand who is attacking Enzo, constantly.
Moments after uttering these words, he went on to shake Big Cass’ hands indicating that none but the Cass himself is the man to be blamed. It will be interesting to see how these mystery storylines get unfold on Raw from this week onwards.
