WWE Rumour: The Undertaker vs John Cena Happening at Survivor Series

There’s no stopping to The Undertaker and his return to the WWE ever since he has competed against Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 33. In recent times, almost each of the WWE fans wanted to see the rematch between these two soon. So, it is expected that at one point, WWE is going to organise this match.
After undergoing the hip surgery, the possibilities of Taker returning for one more match seemed illogical. His back portion was completely bruised considering the gruesome battles he has suffered over the years. After wrestling for over 25 years in the business, it could not take any more of that and needed to be replaced, entirely.
It is hard to get back into shape with a surgically repaired hip and, hence it was understandable why The Undertaker had decided to call it a quit. However, in recent times, there have quite a bit hints which state that The Deadman will rise again, somewhere, somehow.
The first hint of the same was given by the WWE itself, during a promo between John Cena and Roman Reigns on Raw. If you have noticed, the Big Dog who retired the Undertaker was blasted by Cena with the following comments,
“I’m not the Undertaker. I’m not a battered veteran at the end of his career with a bad hip.”
PWinsider.com noted this suggesting that this was mentioned for one reason only which is to bring back the Undertaker in future. Apparently, it might be for the rematch with Roman Reigns or even a much-anticipated match with John Cena which never took place.
One of the vignettes of the upcoming No Mercy PPV ends with the symbolic gong of the Undertaker which is another hint of the Phenome coming back, certainly. According to the source, he might interfere in the upcoming match between Cena and Reigns at the PPV to set up a match with John Cena at Survivor Series.
It is going to be quite an interesting booking by the WWE creative to insert John Cena into the picture so that the dream match between Cena and Taker finally comes to fruition. The last PPV of the year is the place where the legendary character of Undertaker was born, and so we can definitely expect him to come back, there.
