Kevin Owens def. Cesaro

Cesaro and Kevin Owens went into war With Intercontinental Champion The Miz, his wife Maryse and Sami Zayn all sitting in on, commentary, resulting the chances of distractions even higher. The fishing moments came when guests at the ringside provided the distraction and KO took full advantage to hold on the tights and then a roll-up for the victory. The Intercontinental champion stood tall by hitting Sami with a Helluva Kick.

Dana Brooke def. Paige

With Becky Lynch being present at ringside commentary Dana Brooke continued her winning streak in the main roster. Brooke put on another impressive in-ring display, defeating Paige with a fireman’s carry into a sit-out slam whereas Becky was again a spectator of the dominance that she is carrying lately.

Dolph Ziggler def. Sheamus

Ziggler was in need of a desperate win, to say the least, and he got one against Sheamus. After the match, Baron Corbin came out to cut a promo about his match against Dolph at the Extreme Rules PPV by saying that he will kick ass on Sunday night. But, prior to that Dolph Ziggler prevailed on WWE SmackDown with a super-kick to The Celtic Warrior for the victory.

Dean Ambrose took Chris Jericho to the Asylum

Chris Jericho comes out next to cut a heel promo and receives heat from the crowd by trying shutting them up. The Asylum cage lowers to the ring, and Jericho attempts to continue until Dean Ambrose disguised as a ring worker jumps on him all of a sudden to deliver a beatdown. The WWE Universe indeed got a gift but not from a certain Jericho, from the Lunatic Fringe.

Big Cass and New Day def. Vaudevillains and Dudley Boyz

Before they defend their WWE Tag Team Championship against The Vaudevillains this Sunday at Extreme Rules, The New Day joined forces with Big Cass to battle the Dudleyz and The Vaudevillains. Cass got a few hot tags and pinned Bubba Ray Dudley with an East Coast River crossing and the Empire Elbow.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns def. Luke Gallows by Disqualification

The result of the contest predictably turned out to be a disqualification after everyone in “The Family” and “The Club” engaged in a brawl at the finishing of the match. After the DQ ending, Jimmy & Jey battled Gallows & Anderson throughout the arena. Styles and Reigns proceeded to not only smash their steel chairs together in a thunderous collision and strikes to each other. The Big Dog stood tall inside the squared circle to close WWE Smackdown.
