WWE Smackdown Live full results: December 12th, 2017

Last night marked the go-home edition of Smackdown Live for the Clash of Champions PPV, on this Sunday. Shinsuke Nakamura was back in action on the main event of the night after quite sometimes. Also, the two competitors of the WWE Championship match had a contract signing. Check out the full results of the show hosted by the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.

WWE Smackdown opened up with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens walking backstage. They are about to start a YEP movement inspired by Daniel Bryan’s YES movement from 2014. They also tried to convince Bryan to revert the decision of their career being on the line at Clash of Champions but failed.

We headed to the ring, as AJ Styles welcomed us to Smackdown Live cutting a promo on Jinder Mahal. The Singh Brothers appeared on the ramp suggesting that they are done with the former champion. Instead, they intended to company Styles. Jinder appeared to take a shot to both of them, whereas, Styles beat the hell out of them inside the ring to end the segment.

Next in line was the opening contest of Smackdown Live. It was a singles match between Charlotte Flair and Ruby Riott instead of the earlier advertised six-women tag team match. Natalya was present at the ringside and turned out to be the difference maker. She delivered a clothesline to Charlotte to make the match disqualified.

After this, the three members of the Riott Squad went on to deliver a vicious attack on Charlotte, as Nattie watched it, calmly. Naomi came out to make the trio go for a retreat with some offensive moves. Later, Carmella, Lana, and Tamina also joined her that forced Riott and Co. to go away from the spot.

Baron Corbin had singles match against Dolph Ziggler. Bobby Roode was the special guest at the commentary table who heard enough of trash talks from both the competitors and stepped inside the ring to hit Ziggler with a Glorious DDT. It made the match a disqualified contest, as Roode stood tall by hitting the offensive move on Corbin, too.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens intended to have a Smackdown occupy segment. However, they were not able to gather a single person in their favour. Rather, Daniel Bryan arrived on the scene to make a huge announcement. He appointed himself as the second guest referee of the Clash of Champions tag team match to ensure that everything remains fair.

The Bludgeon Brothers defeated two local talents in another squash match. The Usos had a matchup against Rusev and Aiden English. The other two teams in Sunday’s title match were also present at ringside. English hit a front face-lock drop to Jey Uso to pick up the pinfall win.

Randy Orton and Nakamura cut a promo before the Clash of Champions tag team match after which Nakamura took on Kevin Owens in the main event. At one point, the referee was knocked out, and Daniel Bryan replaced him. Zayn provided the distraction to Nakamura allowing Owens to hit the pop-up powerbomb to pick up the win. Owens and Zayn celebrated to end the show.
