The Smackdown Women’s title rematch was contested between Naomi and Lana. Prior to the match, Lana delivered an ambush to the champion trying to get upper hand. But, Naomi fired back with a kick to the head following with a top rope moon assault for a quick win.

Randy Orton was standing in the middle of the ring demanding a rematch for the WWE Championship. Shane McMahon came out stating that he can understand Orton’s feeling of being disrespected at his hometown. So, he booked the rematch at Battleground PPV.

The main event witnessed a chaotic brawl between the five women for the Money in the Bank briefcase. Becky Lynch was about to retrieve the briefcase by climbing the ladder but James Ellsworth showed up creating a distraction for her, once again.
