So what to expect from this week’s Smackdown? Last week, it was a good show but Raw somehow surpassed Smackdown. This week, Raw was great so can Smackdown compete with the red brand?

AJ Styles and Randy Orton put up an excellent competition last week on Smackdown. There were only three matches, but the main event just stole the whole show. After the match, AJ Styles took all his frustration out on Shane McMahon. So, the rumors are proving to be true; AJ Styles will battle Shane McMahon at WrestleMania. It’ll be interesting to see how the buildup process goes on this week.

The storyline between Dean Ambrose and Baron Corbin is going really well. The Lunatic Fringe picked up a storyline injury last week, which might keep him out of action for a couple of weeks. Hopefully, Baron is expected to have a squash match this week. He needs it to make himself look strong for WrestleMania.

Last week, we did not see anything of Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. This week, Bray must appear, at least on the big screen. With WrestleMania to be showcased in only three weeks time, they need to build up the WWE championship match solidly. For that, Bray needs to appear this week. But we have a feeling Bray will not appear before next week.

About Luke Harper, we think he should be given a chance in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. With Braun Strowman rumored to win the battle royal, Luke Harper also needs momentum on his side. For that, he needs to look strong at WrestleMania, and the only way to do it is to put him in Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal where he can be built as a strong force.

Moving on to the mixed Tag Team feud; the Miz cut two hilarious promos last week on Smackdown; one on the main show and the other one was on Talking Smack. We hope to hear from John Cena this week. This is the best thing about this feud; some great promos.

The Smackdown Women’s championship announcement last week was simply cool but the stipulation for the WrestleMania match has not been decided yet. Fans would actually like to see a ladder match.
