The show started as Layla and Fandango entered the arena for the first contest of the night. Adam Rose came out as the opponent of Fandango. Summer Rae came out along with Adam Rose as  a part of Adam Rose’s Exotic Express friends.

Match 1 – Adam Rose defeated Fandango by count out. Layla and Summer Rae started fighting outside of the ring as soon as the match started. Fandango went outside to separate them. He kept trying to separate the two divas but he could not. In the mean time, referee counted out Fandango and declared Adam Rose as the winner of the match. After the match, Adam Rose mocked Fandango by giving him a lollipop. Fandango tried to attack Adam Rose and Rose nailed Fandango with his Face First finishing maneuver.

Backstage Renee Young interviewed Chris Jericho. Renee asked Jericho about his feeling about the match between Jericho and Bray Wyatt that had been announced for the Battleground pay per view event. Jericho said that for the first time ever Jericho and Wyatt were going head to head. He cut an interesting promo on their match at battleground and also revealed that he would face Randy Orton on that night. He said that Randy Orton was one of his favorite opponents and he was eager to face him later on the night.

Footage from last week was shown where John Cena and Seth Rollins faced each other one on one. Kane and Randy Orton attacked John Cena during the match and Roman Reigns came out to save Cena. As Rollins noticed Cena was out cold, he attempted to cash in his Money in the Bank contract. Again Dean Ambrose came out and prevented Seth Rollins from cashing in the contract. As Seth was taken away by Dean, Orton and Kane attempted to assault on Cena again, this time Cena and Reigns took them out.

Rusev and Lana came out to talk trash again. Roman Reigns came out to confront them. The fans chanted Roman Reigns’ name. Reigns said that Rusev surely did not come to hear the fans chanting Reigns’ name and staring at him, he was a business man and he would like to come to the point straight. He said that the ring belonged to him and later on the night, he would end Rusev’s WWE days. Lana addressed Reigns as an ‘American Swine’ and told him that he should careful about what he wish for. Roman Reigns said that he would show everyone who needed to be worried as soon as a referee joined. Lana stopped Rusev from the early fight.

WWE Divas champion AJ Lee came out for the next contest of the night. WWE Divas championship match between Paige and AJ Lee had been announced at the Battleground pay per view event.

Match 2 – WWE Divas champion AJ Lee defeated Cameron in a non title match. Cameron tried to leave the arena during the match but Naomi came out and forced her into the ring. AJ Lee pinned Cameron with the Shinning Wizard finishing maneuver.

Backstage Randy Orton was interviewed by Renee Young. Renee asked Orton about his feelings on when Kane said last week on Monday Night Raw that he started to hate him. Orton said that he did not care about what he said, he cared about what he did, and he would do what best for business was and Randy Orton walking out of battleground as the WWE World champion was best for business. He talked about Chris Jericho; his opponent later on the night. He said that Chris Jericho was addressed as a legend, and he would be introduced to the Legend Killer later on the night.

Match 3 – WWE Tag team champions The Usos defeated Heath Slater and Titus O’ Neil.

Match 4 – Randy Orton defeated Chris Jericho. Excellent match, undoubtedly, it was the best match of the night. The music of the Wyatt Family was played to distract Jericho and Randy Orton took the advantage of the situation as he nailed Jericho with the RKO. Orton pinned Jericho after the RKO.

The tag team Diva match from Monday Night Raw was shown where WWE Divas champion AJ Lee and Paige teamed up together to beat The Funkadactyls. Paige pinned Cameron with the Paige Turn to win the match. After the match, Cameron and Naomi fought each other.

Match 5 – Summer Rae vs. Layla went to a no contest. Fandango was the special guest referee of the match. Layla kissed Fandango as soon as the match started, Summer Rae kissed Fandango too. As the two divas were about to fight, Fandango prevented them. He started between both of them which harassed the two divas and they attacked Fandango. Fandango somehow escaped. Layla and Summer Rae danced together as Fandango was staring at them from outside of the ring. AFandango did not like the fact that Layla and Summer Rae became friends.

Match 6 – Goldust defeated Curtis Axel. It was certainly not the best match of the night. Goldust pinned Axel with the Final Cut finishing maneuver. After the match, Ryback attacked Goldust but Stardust saved Goldust.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Alberto Del Rio from last week’s Monday Night Raw was shown where Del Rio defeated Ziggler.

Match 7 – Bo Dallas defeated Diego and El Torito in a handicap match. Bo Dallas pinned Diego with the Running Bulldog. After the match, Bo Dallas beat down El Torito.

Main Event – Roman Reigns defeated Rusev by Disqualification. Randy Orton interfered during the match and Reigns which forced the referee to call for the bell. After the match, Reigns tried to fight both Orton and Rusev but got knocked out by a Super Kick from Rusev. Orton knocked out Reigns with the RKO after Rusev’s departure. Orton posed over Reigns as the show went off air.
