The main event of WWE Raw featured a tag team championship match between The Bar and The Shield. The latter team never received their rematch for the titles after losing it before the Survivor Series PPV in chaos. With the long-term rivalry going on, this was expected to be another enthralling contest between the two teams.
To add some more excitements to the contest, Samoa Joe showed up during the matchup, out of nowhere. At the very end of it, he locked in the Coquina Clutch on Dean Ambrose that also brought Roman Reigns down to the ringside, as these two went on to create a brawl.
These turned out to be a bad for the other two-thirds members of The Shield, as Sheamus capitalised on the distraction. He was able to deliver the Brogue kick on an unconscious Ambrose and put Cesaro over him to earn the pinfall win and retain the WWE Raw tag team championships. The contest ended in a similar chaotic fashion that The Bar won the titles.
Tonight was a lot of fun. When it comes to getting on camera, I don’t set the bar. I am The Bar. #WWE #WWERaw #MondayNightRaw #TagTeamTitles #TheBar #SamoaJoe #Sheamus #Cesaro #TheShield pic.twitter.com/zksAl3Wd6n

The crowd was not happy to see their favourite not being able to hold the tag team championships although, this was not the best contest delivered by the veteran teams. For their sake, another exciting segment was in store after WWE Raw went off the air. The Shield worked as a team and wrestled in a match for the live crowd in Los Angeles.

The Shield called them back to the ring to have the match. Rollins instructed his brothers to bring the Celtic Warrior back to the show to deliver a beatdown. They were able to seek redemption as a team, as the Hounds of Justice picked up a pinfall victory over the heels to end the show on a light note. It made the fans leaving for their home happily.
