For some yet-to-be-confirmed reasons, WWE is looking to build a stable relationship with the former members of the female roster. In recent times, the company has wished to Maria Kanellis on her birthday going in total contrast from their traditions.

They further did the same with another veteran Diva that used to perform under their banner. Recently, WWE wished former champion Melina on her birthday. On her 37th birthday, they have posted a separate gallery featuring her photos on the official website as well as wished her on the twitter account.

These have fuelled up the speculations suggesting that she is also waiting to make a triumphant return to WWE at a certain point. She is considered as a tremendous performer inside the squared circle and can come handy in a time when the skill is everything in the women’s division.

She began her professional wrestling career in the year 2005 being a manager for MNM in the Ohio Wrestling Valley. She originally was a tough enough competitor who failed to make her presence felt at that point. Later, she focused on her singles career and landed up getting a contract with WWE.

Her agility inside the ring was noticed sooner and she became an integral part of the women’s roster. Her performance made her becoming a 3-time women’s champion and a 2-time Divas champion. After her contract expired with WWE in 2011, she decided to leave the company.

In an interview with Diva-dirt.com, she stated how it felt to work with the WWE with the below comments:

“Everything happens for a reason. [WWE] weren’t bad to me, they were great. They gave me an amazing experience, they made me realize so many dreams. There’s so much more that I want to do, but, hey, you know, it’s not the end. Just because they let me go, doesn’t mean that I won’t be back again.”

With Wrestlemania just around the corner, we are yet to see whether the rumors of her return come out to be true or not.
