80 to 90 Percent Agreement Has Been Made – PCB Chairman Najam Sethi On Mickey Arthur Return As Coach

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee chairman Najam Sethi on Tuesday said that the agreement with the former South African coach Mickey Arthur was almost done and the process will be wrapped in 10 to 15 days.

“I think the project has almost been completed. Today I will discuss this with Haroon and we will also talk to Mickey Arthur in one or two days. Eighty to 90 percent agreement has been made,” Sethi told

Sethi continued that once the contract is finalized, he could invite Arthur to discuss his roles and responsibilities.
“When it is finalized I will invite him here so that he could see all contracts and exactly what will be his responsibilities and how things will be done and we will wrap up the process in ten to 15 days,” Sethi said.
I Can Not Say Anything – Najam Sethi On Asia Cup 2023
Najam Sethi was asked about the outcomes of the ACC meeting during a press conference. A meeting ACCwas held in Bahrain earlier in February which was attended by Sethi. Among other issues, the fate of Asia Cup 2023 was also discussed but no decision was made, and added that another meeting was scheduled to be held in March and where the matter will be discussed.
“We are going to be meeting again in March on the sidelines of the ICC meeting and these issues will be taken up again. There was no resolution in the last meeting and beyond that, I cannot say anything,” Sethi said.
Last Year, BCCI secretary and Asian Cricket Council (ACC) chief Jay Shah said that India will not travel to Pakistan for Asia Cup 2023 and the tournament would be moved to a neutral venue Pakistan officials commented that if India doesn’t come to Pakistan for Asia Cup, then Pakistan will not go to India for the 2023 World Cup.
