2nd Test: India dismissed for 283 in first innings

Perth, Dec 16:  India was dismissed for 283 runs in the first innings on the third day of the second cricket Test against Australia here on Sunday.

Australia thus took a first innings lead of 43 runs. They had scored 326 in their first innings.

Off-spinner Nathan Lyon was the most successful of the Australian bowlers with figures of 5/67.
