MS Dhoni:

The former Indian captain has taken a break from the game after ICC World Cup 2019. He has been out of action since the last eight months. Importantly, he has also been excluded from the BCCI’s central contract list.
So, there is an indirect hint that Dhoni is now no more in the plans of the Indian team.
However, from time to time, selectors and the head coach has said that wicketkeeper batsman’s performance in IPL will decide his future in the national team.
Besides, his break has given chance to Pant to don the gloves but the youngster has failed to get to the mark like Dhoni.
Interestingly, KL Rahul has come out to fill the gap of the veteran. He has been scoring runs from every position and has also shown class behind the stumps.
Thus, the Indian team has signalled that they have moved on from Dhoni.
