Ahmad Shehzad Trolled Again, This Time for Posting Photo after Workout

Pakistan opener Ahmad Shehzad was at the receiving end of the Twitter trolls once again after he posted a photo post his work out.

The 25-year-old is yet to live up to the expectations on the cricket field. The opening batsman, who arrived on the international stage in 2009 with a lot of hype, has failed miserably to justify it.

One of the most consistent performers in the domestic circuit back then, the right-handed batsman was highly rated and was consistently compared to the likes of Virat Kohli, Joe Root and Kane Williamson. However, inconsistency has been his nemesis so far and despite getting numerous chances, he is not being able to become a regular in the team.

In October 2016, he was dropped to category D, the lowest level of contracts by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) but he was given a lifeline when he was included in the ODI and T20 squad for the West Indies tour earlier this year.

However, he managed to score only 75 runs in the three ODIs and 84 in four T20Is. But he was retained in the squad for the Champions Trophy and he once again came up with a disappointing performance.

Barring the direct hit against England in the semifinal as a substitute fielder, he had nothing to show from the tournament which Pakistan won. He played just one game, scoring 12 runs before being replaced by Fakhar Zaman, who scored a sensational century in the final against India.

But despite being an under performer so far in his career, the batsman has a knack of drawing criticism and has invited the latest round of it after he posted a photo where he and his wife Sana were indulging in a conversation after his work out.

“Sana: howz the feeling of a good work out? Me:,” wrote the player who is known for his obsession with selfies.

And as soon as he posted the photo, the fans were quick to troll him. Here are some of the reactions:
