On Friday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) invited the applications for Team India’s two national selector’s post. Till now, MSK Prasad, who had finished his four-year term last November, has been serving as the interim chief selectors along with former India and Rajasthan batsman, Gagan Khoda.
According to rule, the selectors are appointed by the members of the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC). But CAC is nonfunctional since the last November. Thus, there is no clarity over who will interview the applicants of selectors.
Meanwhile, many high-profile dignitaries have applied for the Indian Men’s selector’s post.

Chetan Sharma:
At the age of 18, former Indian pacer made the Test debut against Pakistan. He has represented Team India in 23 Test matches and 65 ODIs.
Sharma snared 61 wickets in Tests and 67 wickets in the white-ball format. He was also a useful lower-order batsman who has a Test fifty and ODI century to his name. After his retirement from the game of cricket, he became a popular commentator.
