Pakistan has always faced strict criticism for the way they treat people from other religions. And in all this a video of the former speedster, Shoaib Akhtar has worsened the image of even the Pakistan cricketers. Its the video of a chat show during which Akhtar revealed that the cricketer Danish Kaneria was mistreated by the other Pakistan cricketers just for being Hindu.
The video has gone viral on the internet that portrayed how badly the other religion cricketers were with the minority community players. The player mentioned in the video, Danish Kaneria, was the only second Hindu after Anil Dalpat in the Pakistan National Cricket Team. And as a matter of fact, Danish was the cousin of Dalpat.
Meanwhile, Akhtar revealed the names few other cricketers who belonged to the minority and were mistreated by fellow teammates.
Akhtar reveals some shocking facts about Pakistan cricket team:

The former ace pacer of Pakistan told that his teammates including the team captain would refrain the bowler Kaneria from eating with them or picking his food from the same table. Akhtar told that he would often tell the skipper how despicable his acts were, especially as the leader of the team.
“Captain would raise eyebrows about him eating with us or taking the food from the same table. I told him that you could be the captain but your conduct is despicable. This guy (Kaneria) is chalking up so many wickets to win matches for us and you’re treating him like this,” Shoaib Akhtar spoke on a cricket show titled ‘Game on Hai’.
Kaneria had snared most important wickets for the team and brought them the glorious Test victory against England in 2005. However, even after scalping good wickets at the seemingly fare economy rate, Kaneria was not given the credit for his efforts.
“No one was giving Danish any credit for his exceptional performance. That was totally uncalled for. He won us the Test series against England (in 2005). He snared all the top-order batsmen,” Akhtar said.
Here is the clipping of the show:
Hindus even at good position like national cricket team are treated badly in Pakistan then think about the poor ones.

Kaneria: ‘Every avenue has dried up for me in Pakistan. It is because I am a Hindu.’
After the pacers like Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, and Imran Khan, Danish Kaneria is the fourth in the list of bowlers with most Test wickets for Pakistan. However, the former leg-spinner, who took 261 wickets in 61 Test for Pakistan, was later accused of being involved in spot-fixing. He was given a lifetime ban by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
Kaneria subsequently filed an appeal against the ban but was rejected by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Earlier in 2016, he claimed that he was being mistreated just because of his religion.
“Every avenue has dried up for me in Pakistan; I seem to have no takers for my appeals from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). I am dying,” Kaneria had said. “It is because I am a Hindu, a minority in Pakistan. It is because I refused to admit my involvement in spot-fixing when the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) charged me. I want to be heard, is it very difficult to hear me out?”
However, this is not the first time that something unexpected has risen to media. The renown Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Yousuf was formerly known as Yousuf Youhana. He was the sole Christian batsman in the squad before he converted his faith to Islam.
