Babar Azam Is Ahead Of Virat Kohli If We Look At Their Initial Days: Inzamam-Ul-Haq

Former skipper of the Pakistan National Cricket Team, Inzamam ul Haq, has said that Babar Azam is ahead of Indian skipper Virat Kohli if we look at their initial days. Indian captain Virat Kohli is undeniably one of the greatest batsmen of his generation. Babar Azam, on the other hand, has also established himself as a world-class batsman in a short period.

This has led to comparisons being drawn between the two legendary batsmen of arch-rival nations. Kohli has scored more than 20,000 runs in international cricket so far and although he might have had a rough patch recently, he seems to be racking up records for fun.

Inzamam thinks that Babar has the potential to put forth stronger performances going into the future.

“In just a few years he has achieved a lot and I know he can do even better than what he has done so far,” Inzamam was quoted as saying to Geo Super.

“Kohli has been playing for 10 years while Babar’s been here for three, four years but if you compare the initial days of Babar and Kohli, you’ll see Babar is ahead,” Inzamam added.

Babar Azam has been a rising star for Pakistan in recent times and has received praise from all over the world for his impressive batting antics. He is playing with an average of above 50 in limited-overs cricket and with average above 45 in Test cricket.

Virat Kohli Has Been On Top Of The Charts In The Last Decade

Virat Kohli is arguably the best batsman in world cricket at the moment. He is racking up records for fun, and he is likely to reach the summit in this list in coming times.

The flamboyant Indian skipper has already smashed 70 international centuries so far and just seems to get better with days going by.
