Always the one to hog the limelight for one reason or another, former India fast bowler S Sreesanth has once again come into the spotlight and this time for contradicting with Aakash Chopra, who thinks the discarded cricketer cannot make a comeback.
The incident happened when cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra held a Q&A session on Twitter. During the interaction, when one of the fans asked the former India opener whether Sreesanth could make a comeback, he replied with a blunt ‘No’.
sir..ur opinion om sreesanth?..can he make a come back?..

However, Sreesanth did not agree with Chopra’s tweet and expressed his surprise over the former Delhi cricketer’s remark.
Tagging both Chopra and the fan who asked the question, Sreesanth tweeted:“”I will make a comeback brother..can’t believe u don’t believe that I will play again..anyways God bless us.”

The Kerela bowler has garnered attention in recent weeks after expressing his desire of making a comeback to cricket.
He, along with his Rajasthan Royals teammates Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan, was banned for life by the BCCI’s disciplinary committee in September 2013 after being involved in match-fixing. In 2015, Sreesanth was cleared of spot-fixing charges by a Delhi trial court due to insufficient evidence under the MCOCA act, a special law passed by the Maharashtra state government to tackle organised crime syndicates and terrorism. However, the BCCI is not allowing him to get back to action since their decision was independent to any criminal proceeding and was based on its independent disciplinary action.
